About Me

Hi! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Emily van der Heijden, and I have been in love with baking since I was a little kid. Many of the techniques and tricks I have honed over the years I learned by watching my mom cook, and by my obsession with my EZ Bake Oven. I began researching the science of baking in my own time, and am self-taught. I take pride in using local and high-quality ingredients to make delicious and pretty treats. Everything is lovingly baked by me, myself, and I in my certified home kitchen!
